TV Programming Technician (Intern) – East Central Florida

The Venture Channel is seeking Television Programming Technicians who have a desire to learn and grow in New Media television.

This position requires the qualified individuals to control all programming aspects of a 24/7 international TV channel in regards to program

scheduling, graphics insertion and on-going development of the EPG (electronic programming guide).

The qualified individual(s) must have a good working knowledge of Windows OS (XP), have a desire to start an exciting career in New Media,

demonstrate the unwavering ability to follow direction, demonstrate the ability and a desire for quality, performance and efficiency. Good knowledge

of TV work flow is beneficial.

The selected individuals will be working with a proprietary platform and a new way of delivering television.

Minimum Requirements:

·         Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.

·         Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP.

·         General knowledge of television work flows.

·         Ability to follow direction without hesitation.

Preferred Requirements (above minimum requirement plus):

·         Graduate or undergraduate of accredited media/broadcasting school.

·         Prior experience in broadcasting or post-production work flows.

Opportunity:

            This person selected for this position will be working with proprietary cutting edge software and a new way of delivering television.

This is an unpaid internship, with the select individual(s) receiving full time employment at the 60 to 90 day completion of training/mentoring.

The selected individual(s) will work with our content distribution providers, as well as internally with production staff. Career growth potential is

very good for the right person.

            Starting salary upon successful completion of training internship program, $40,000/year.
